In The Pink Of Health
October is breast cancer awareness month. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that we’ve all been touched by cancer in some way, shape, or form. Whether it’s helping a family member through treatment, seeing a friend receive a disheartening diagnosis, or even having a cancer scare yourself, the disease often brings up plenty of emotions.
Thankfully, there are some incredible organizations and facilities that are dedicated to supporting families, researching treatments, and raising awareness for cancer. One such organization is MD Anderson Breast Care. A spa-like environment encompassed in a 7,500 square-feet facility in Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, MD Anderson Breast Care is a private-bed, full-service, comprehensive, acute-care facility that strives to bring expertise and healing for families in its surrounding communities.
In order to continue our years-long support of the medical center, we are joining forces with them by sponsoring the 19th-annual “In the Pink of Health” luncheon on October 18th. Money raised from this event will go to fight breast and ovarian cancer through education, early detection, and outreach.
